Me? I like to wake up early. I wake by at least 5:30 every morning; some of you may think I'm stark raving mad, but let me explain. It's quiet at 5:30 a.m. It's quiet in the house, quiet in the neighborhood, quiet in my little part of the world.
I love early mornings and I love sunrise - it's like watching the day being born and growing up. I am not super creative at this time or even all that productive between 5 & 7 (time for that is between 7.am. and noon) I'm just still and that's BIG for me.
Now if I could only get the dogs to stop snoring I'd be all set!
When is your time? When are you productive or reflective, or just still? I look forward to reading your comments.
I'll keep you posted!

Are we clones? Ever since I was a young kid, I've loved the hour between five and six. I love watching the light change, the mist/fog burn away, catching that last glimpse of the stars and moon. In college I pulled all-dawners instead of all-nighters, which is why I'm up mopping the kitchen floor this morning!
(if this shows up twice, it's because I'm a dork and couldn't get the first time to post)
I actually woke up at 5 am this morning and couldn't believe that I was awake! I am not a morning person but I can see why you like it so much! I need to be good like you and do meal planning.
I wake up really early too, (sometimes as early as 3 or 4)!!
But really the ideal time is 5 or 5.30 its peaceful and the day is so fresh and new.
You all raving about 5 am makes me want to get up and experience the day at that time. But I'm not a nice person in the mornings. I'm growly and thundery, and very very sleepy!
My time is around 11 am, that is the time I get moving, feel alive, the ideas burn, I get in the groove, the kids are happy, we are ready to begin! The day has cast on its excitement - the world is awake (well most of it anyway!)
Thank-goodness my kid sleep in! LOL!
