The Silent Blogger

All's quiet on the Southeastern Front - sorry about that.

It's been a rough season this year; I'm not sure why exactly. Things are looking up now. A fresh New Year is always good for a fresh new outlook.

We had a nice and quiet holiday at home. We kept it really small and the kids loved everything. I loved it as well (well now that it's over I can say that - Phew!).

Casey is home until next week and I am loving every minute of it (except this afternoon when I had a hormonal meltdown and bit his head off - sorry honey). I really love his company and we are a couple that can spend every waking moment together and NEVER tire of the other - it's very comfortable.

This week is filled with trips to the museum and board games and crafts, and movies, and naps - I wish it could go on forever.

These are a few of the items I crafted for the holidays - I enjoyed making them all and the gifts were well received.

Holiday Craft Mosaic

There were PJs and tote bags and American Girl Doll clothes and placemats and stacks and stacks of library books that I am poring over even now. It was a wonderful holiday. In a few days I'll have some pics of the wonderful items that were made for and given to me - I am a blessed girl indeed!

Love to all!

I'll keep you posted!

How hard were the American Girl doll clothes? Buttercup has two and I've got some old (republished) patterns, but I've been intimidated by the tiny scale of things like sleeves!
